Charming inn, we were the only one's staying when we were there and unfortunately we stayed when the weather was bad so were unable to explore Newport properly. Great to have the complimentary cheese and wine in the evenings and the breakfast's were plentiful. Good friendly service, lovely old building.

My husband and I stayed at the Almondy Inn this past weekend as we were attending a wedding. It is in a perfect location right in the center of things but just far enough away that you don't get the noise. We stayed in the Plantation Room which is lovely and has two large windows overlooking the Bay. It was nice to wake up each morning to the lovely view. But it isn't just the beautiful inn that is a gem. From the time we checked in across the street, the staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. And Claudette who works in the Inn gives an even more special feel to this B & B. She is very welcoming and friendly not to mention being a wonderful cook! Breakfast both mornings was excellent and a great start to the day. We look forward to our next stay at this Inn!

Room tip: The Plantation and Sunset rooms have a view of the Bay!

This is a lovely B&B in a great location - a couple of minutes walk from Bannisters Wharf. We stayed in the Sunset room which was comfortable albeit not huge. The room was well equipped and included a coffee machine and bathrobes. One downside was having to man our luggage up a flight of stairs however the young lady who checked us in very helpfully offered us assistance. The continental breakfast included was very good and all in all we were delighted with our choice.

We stayed at The Almondy Inn for two nights in August. It was in the most perfect location, right next to the main road but not too noisy. We stayed in the Plantation room and it was very comfortable. The bed was divine!
Breakfast was served in the morning and as we are vegetarians we were offered substitutes, delicious.
If you are thinking of staying in Newport and don't want to pay ridiculous amounts on a room choose The Almondy!!

Room spacious, bed super comfortable. Easy walk to marina, shopping, variety of restaurants. Welcoming Inn that embraces all that Newport has to offer. Lovely deck with rocking chairs , great place for coffee before the day begins..
