This is a lovely B&B in a great location - a couple of minutes walk from Bannisters Wharf. We stayed in the Sunset room which was comfortable albeit not huge. The room was well equipped and included a coffee machine and bathrobes. One downside was having to man our luggage up a flight of stairs however the young lady who checked us in very helpfully offered us assistance. The continental breakfast included was very good and all in all we were delighted with our choice.

We stayed at The Almondy Inn for two nights in August. It was in the most perfect location, right next to the main road but not too noisy. We stayed in the Plantation room and it was very comfortable. The bed was divine!
Breakfast was served in the morning and as we are vegetarians we were offered substitutes, delicious.
If you are thinking of staying in Newport and don't want to pay ridiculous amounts on a room choose The Almondy!!

Room spacious, bed super comfortable. Easy walk to marina, shopping, variety of restaurants. Welcoming Inn that embraces all that Newport has to offer. Lovely deck with rocking chairs , great place for coffee before the day begins..

What a wonderful getaway location!! Just a short walk to bars, marina, water shuttles, shopping, restaurants, historic homes and sites. Beautiful harbor view from the balcony of the newly opened two bedroom suite on the top floor or fun spot for night cap and people watching in rockers on the front porch.
My wife and I had a wonderful time for a long weekend getaway. House was well kept and maintained; breakfast and evening wine and cheese were fun and enjoyed.

I spent a wonderful long weekend in a 2 bedroom remodeled space with living and dining areas with views of Newport Harbor. The staff and food was truly great. The Inn is located in the heart of Newport . Walk to shops and restaurants and everything else you can imagine. This inn very well maintained. It is worth the stop and has private parking so book the Captains Quarters.
