This is our second time dining here. Last night was a bit disappointing. When we made reservations we were told there were two seatings...6:40 and 8pm. We chose the first seating. As a Valentine gift, each woman was presented with a long-stemmed red rose...a very nice touch. The service was extremely slow. We don't like to be rushed, but waiting nearly one hour between our salad and our entree was a bit much. Our server Rose was terrific, but it seemed she was the only server in the dining room. Both gentlemen had the salmon which they enjoyed. I had the filet of beef which was average at $36. Our other dining companion had the rack of lamb which she said was perfectly prepared. All in all, One Bellvue remains a lovely place to dine ; perhaps last night was somewhat "off."

We ate here a few weeks ago and I called before hand to arrange some special requests for our table. Ryan the manager was professional and went to accommodate all my special recommendations to make my anniversary dinner a success for my beautiful bride... He did very well indeed, we walked to our table and the dozen roses I pre-ordered were placed elegantly in the center and as we were seated the wine I requested was poured into our glasses and a toast was made.. First rate and very happy with the way they did this. My wife was thrilled and made to feel special. Our waiter was exceptional and knowledgeable with the menu and what ever questions we had for him. His name was Ryan and he should be requested by all for a pleasurable dinning experience. He was attentive and sent over the bread waitress with the oils and olive tapenade after our order was placed. The Chef came out, his name is Chad and we have met him before and always enjoyed his delicious creations which are seasoned to perfection. He started us off with a duck appetizer over a lentil puree with a currant chutney which was to die for, I could of ate this as an entree. I had the scallop appetizer and it was just as wonderful and so tender and flavorful. My wife ordered the beet soup and it was like velvet in her mouth with the flavor of the pancetta giving it a nice touch. For the main entree we both had the filet and it was cooked to perfection and was delicious, and we were in heaven at this point... The dessert we shared was a vanilla creme brulee and we fought over the last spoonful.. It was that good... The meal, the waitstaff Ryan, and the manager Ryan and the talented chef Chad made it a perfect dinning experience... Need to mention the wonderful bar they have right out side the dining room it is gorgeous and has the most talented bartender name Rose, who is as sweet and hospitable as they come and made the best Martini's and had the most delightful personality, she is an asset to this establishment. We will be back next Month for another perfect dinner... Thank you to the entire staff...

This is not a traditional English tea but it is very good. Scones served with house made lemon curd, chicken salad sandwiches and Caprese sandwiches, slices of cake and truffles. Plus of course a pot of tea. It is a very satisfying way to spend the afternoon.

Dined here twice while vacationing. The first was Thanskgiving eve and than for sunday brunch. The Thanksgiving turkey dinner was excellent and a great value for the money. food was plentiful, dessert was supermarket quality. Service was definitely lacking in many respects. Although our waitress tried hard and was friendly, she was inexperienced and did not fit in with the ambiance of a classy hotel. The sunday teatime service was an embarrassment. The tea sandwich tray took 45 minutes to get to the table. I had to remind the waitress three times for the food and she said it was the fault of the kitchen but no apologies. A restauarnt manager was nowhere to be found. The table next to us also had other problems with a different waiter. This experience took what may have been an exceptional review to very average.

Their sauces/flavorings are just perfect and compliment the dishes perfectly! Atmosphere is great and so convenient if staying at the hotel! Breakfast buffet also wonderful!
