Description: At Brick Alley Pub we have it all: "pub style" comfort food to modern multicultural cuisine all served with genuine down-home hospitality. Like America itself, Brick Alley is one big melting pot of ethnicities, flavors, and fun. If you are looking for stiff, over the top formal service with small portions of over-priced food, we are not that place. Located at 140 Thames Street across from the Brick Market Place in Downtown Newport the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant offers a warm and cozy fireplace in the winter and comfortably air-conditioned dining rooms in the summer. The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant specializes in a blend of flavorful steaks, fresh local seafood, pastas, and seasonal specials. Begin your dinner with a selection from our cocktail menu or choose a wine from our extensive wine list. This wine list features over 250 different vintages and has received the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence. Open for lunch and dinner, Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant accepts reservations and offers an upstairs function room that can accommodate up to 170 people. The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant has received favorable reviews from countless local and national publications including: The Providence Journal, Travel-Holiday, Ford Times, Rhode Island Monthly, and Newport Life Magazine. “Our only "Double Stop" when in Newport”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

We are in Newport once a year at least and there are so many great restaurants and in town that we try to try new ones and not stop at the good ones more than once. We discovered brick alley 10 years ago on my wife's birthday and it is the only restaurant we might stop at twice when in town. You will wait as it's popular but the waiting area is comfortable or you can stroll along thames street while you wait if a really long wait. Variety is excellent... apps, burgers, sandwiches, and seafood are all great... and the salad/soup bar is excellent. They also have some unique side dishes to go with your meal.

“summer lunch”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Wow! Brick Alley is always a favorite for locals and travelers but they added a new pork rib sauce this season that is delicious! The menu is varied and will meet many dietary needs, nachos are the best, but low carb people can select from a variety of fish and salad bar options. Always fun, always good. We are local, so off season is our recommendation to deal with the crowds, but Newport and summer are a perfect combo.

Place is very deceiving from the outside. Once you go in, its a lot bigger than it seems. Great casual environment & overall atmosphere...definitely has a good vibe. Our waitress Brittany was great The meals were HUGE and delicious. Only two of us could finish our meals and those of us that finished were stuffed for quite some time after. This is a great place to

“One of my favorites!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014 via mobile

I love Brick Alley Pub! This place is so cool. It is a great place to go out for the night in the Newport area. The decor is very cool and the places has a really cool vibe to it. The food is always consistently very good and the waitstaff is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking to get away from all the seafood restaurants in Newport, come here! You will probably love it too and have a great time.

“Good place for large group (8)”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

The Brick Alley Pub had no problem seating our rather large group of 8 women. We had a late lunch with a large selection of menu items to choose from. Service was good, food was good, though portions were not especially large.
