My husband and I stop here once a rear when we're in Newport. Great pub and bar atmosphere. He ordered the little neck clams in chorizo broth. He loved them, and actually drank the rest of the broth when he had finished his clams. I got the Fat Tuesday salad. Very tasty. But the standout was by far the mushroom soup at the salad bar. The deep rich flavor of the mushroom in the creamy broth tasted like it came right out of a five-star French restaurant!!
