My husband and I stop here once a rear when we're in Newport. Great pub and bar atmosphere. He ordered the little neck clams in chorizo broth. He loved them, and actually drank the rest of the broth when he had finished his clams. I got the Fat Tuesday salad. Very tasty. But the standout was by far the mushroom soup at the salad bar. The deep rich flavor of the mushroom in the creamy broth tasted like it came right out of a five-star French restaurant!!

While vacationing in Newport we had the pleasure of eating at the Brick Alley Pub twice in one day. My fiancee had originally gone in for a beer and I ordered the fruit and cheese platter. Because the service and food were great we came back for dinner and were not disappointed. We would definitely go back if we are ever in Newport again.

We ate lunch at Brick Alley Pub while on a day trip to Newport. Our server not only provided us with excellent service but was very friendly. I had a bowl of lobster bisque and a salad from their salad bar, both were delicious. The choices on the salad bar were extensive. The bisque was served in a metal bowl which kept it hot through out the meal . Crusty French bread was also served. I regret it could only be a one time visit because I live in another state.

My husband and I ate two meals, lunch and dinner while visiting Newport in April! We loved lunch so much, that we went back the next night for dinner. Food was great...service was great and we loved the place. It was cozy and warm and inviting. Would definitely go back the next time we're in Newport!!
