“Best burgers hands down!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013

Our friends suggested we go there when we visited Newport. Wow! The burgers are the best. Fresh and huge!! It's a fun atmosphere and the crowd is all ages. The staff was very friendly and the prices were about the same as the other pubs in the area.

“Good, hearty pub food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

There isn't a lot of delicacy about the food at The Brick Alley, but if you want a hearty meal of tasty food, you'll find it here. I had their seafood macaoni & cheese, which comes complete with soup and a visit to their salad bar. It tasted good, though some of the shellfish was overcooked. The atmosphere is lively, the waitress was pleasant and the price was OK.

“Popular restaurant with good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Brick Alley Pub is a short walk from the Visitor Center & serves up a wide variety of food in a fun atmosphere. This restaurant was within easy walking distance of Perotti Park where our cruise ship docked. We wanted lobster so we each ordered a lobster roll and found them to be ok. I had a coupon from the visitor center for a free glass of wine which I delightfully used. It is a popular place so we had to wait a half hour but there are lots of surrounding shops to visit while you wait. All in all, it was a good stop but I would choose something else to eat next time.

“perfectly reasonable”

Perfectly acceptable restaurant with a bar/pub feel. The food was fine - not gourmet, but much above the usual bar food.

“a brick of a pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

We found this place on our first evening in Newport RI and it was heaving, There was a mix of ages, and the food looked great. Next day around lunchtime we decided to check it out again, there were a few tables free. We went in and were greeted and seated promptly as if we were "regulars" Our drinks order was soon on the table and our food was ordered. The comings and goings continued with only a few tables being available. It seemed mainly to be regulars, I can see why they come back.
First rate service, wonderful atmosphere, extensive menu and good value for money.
