“Great dinner”
Reviewed March 28, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed our dinner. Lobster roll was excellent, lots of big chunks of lobster on a buttery hotdog roll. Coleslaw was yummy and I'm particular about slaw. Son enjoyed huge burger and daughter had penne alfredo off kids' menu. Littlenecks were great and bread for dipping was as well. Wish the upstair bathroom/hallway did not have very scantilly clad men in photos since kids use the bathrooms, too. Enjoyed our dinner overall.

“Mixed reviews”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

There were four of us and each one of us had a different opinion of the food.
I had a delicious mortabella sandwich.
My son said the hamburger was great.
My husband did not enjoy his panini
My other son said the wrap was okay.
We had to wait for 20 minutes.

Patty J,
Thank you for visiting and for writing a TA review. We always love to see perfect review, but when they are not we try like heck to get things squared away in a hurry. It would be a great help to me if you could please let me know exactly which sandwich/wrap your husband and son had. This information will allow me to zero in on those particular items and begin to diagnose any problems with them. I appreciate your time, and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Matt Plumb

“Solid atmosphere and very good food”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Similar to what others have noted, and equal to the overall reviews, the best part of this experience is the local flavor in the restaurant atmosphere. The scallops were delicious, and the chowdah was excellent as well (when in Rome...). A bit pricey, but then again Newport is no bargain town. Would certainly visit again and enjoy a few local brews.

“Great food”

We had a fabulous lunch buffet at a private affair upstairs. we started off with the clam chowder (fabulous) and had Cajun chicken breasts and the thin crust Cajun chicken pizza was the BOMB. my wife is a pizza connoisseur from New York and gave it two thumbs up. would go back again and again.

“Fun, hip bar/restaurant!!”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

We decided to eat here because Bon Appetit magazine said listed them as one of the top 5 restaurants in the country to get a lobster roll at - they did not disappoint! Great food, lots of locals, good value!
