We originally booked our stay for the Beech Tree Inn, and the day before we recieved a call letting us know that there had been a mistake and that our room was double booked. The owners offered us a room at their sister b&b down the street- the admaral sim's house.
I was a bit nervous because there weren't many reviews on trip advisor but once we got there our worries went right out the window. The house only had 4 rooms, so it was very quite and Cindy the caretaker was friendly, welcoming and made us feel right at home.
We stayed in the Admaral Sims Suite on the 3rd floor. The photos don't do the place justice. It was lovely, historic and very clean.
They had a delicious complementary breakfast for us each morning complete with a live guitar player.
We walked to dinners on Thames street each night. Only about 15 minutes away.
I can't wait to go back soon!
