Another five star review for captain Sam and his lovely boat Wren! I chartered a 1.5 hour sail for a small group of ladies in celebration of my daughter's upcoming wedding. It was an absolutely wonderful way to showcase Newport harbor and Narragansett by to a few out of town guests. I loved that Sam encourages drink and snacks as we brought along prosecco and a charcuterie board. The boat was a perfect size for our group of six - with enough room in the cockpit for comfort though we all enjoyed the deck as well. Highly recommended.

Captain Sam and Wren were an amazing team. It was undoubtedly the best afternoon sail we had ever been on. We also learned so much about the history, ecosystem, and nautical lore that surrounds this beautiful area. We recommend Captain Sam and beautiful Wren for an amazing sail you will never forget 🙏❤️🙏

Our two-hour early afternoon trip on Lyra was wonderful! The wind was great and, at our request, we had the full heeling experience with the wooden sideboards practically in the water. Green was amazing to work with pre-trip, and a real pleasure in person. He went out with us, but Emma was our terrific captain; somehow she managed to skillfully run the wheel and the lines and keep us slicing through the water all while maintaining a great conversation with my folks in the cockpit. The directions for where to meet were perfect; there is a very large paid parking lot just steps from the meet-up point. My mom (80 years old) was able to do the transit from dock to tender to boat and back again with some assistance, although the large steps down (basically stepping onto the seats of the boat and the tender) were a little challenging. Absolutely fantastic people, fantastic boat, and a fantastic two hour trip! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a beautiful morning sail aboard the 35’ Allied Seabreeze named ‘Wren’. A well-appointed vessel, the Wren has great character of when sailboats had grace all their own.
Captain Sam shared thorough knowledge of the boat, the bay, other vessels, and various coastal structures.
Our sail was a true delight. I wished I spent the money for a longer cruise, as 1.5 hours just seemed too short for the sights.
I highly recommend adding this particular sailboat cruise to your Newport experience.

This was such a fun experience! We are from a landlocked state and know nothing about sailing. I booked this thinking that it would be a great experience for my kids, ages 6,9, and 11. Captain Green was fantastic. We were well taken care of. He engaged the kids with having them help out on the boat and taught them about knots. Captain Green was also very flexible with our booking. His season was technically over, but he agreed to take us out on Sunday (before he had to catch a flight!) As the weekend grew nearer, it became clear that Saturday was going to be the better day for weather. We easily switched the booking to Saturday evening instead. Simon was his helper, and he was great too. I highly recommend this sailing experience!
