$5.00 beer (Newport Storm - rated pretty good by my wife) and $9.00 pizza (chicken/cheese/pineapple/barbecue sauce) odd combination on a thin crust but it worked.
Pizza was about a medium size with chunk size pineapple and seemingly canned chicken, from a wood fired/grilled oven, not too much barbecue sauce (sweet baby rays?).
Atmosphere: A little loud, but what would one expect in a bar on Sunday when a football game is on, Many flat screen TVs. Very informal.

Okay, so the food wasn't great--it's bar food. BUT, the service was outstanding. Friendly, prompt, welcoming. For that reason alone I'd go back and eat pizza with canned mushrooms!

We stopped in on our venture back to our hotel and highly recommend. Loved their seating options. It was late so we did not have a chance to dine. Staff was exceptional.

We went to Newport on Jazz Fest weekend and the place was packed. Someone recommended Celtica as a place to grab a quick bite away from all the crowds and craziness. Great Irish style pub with a limited menu but very good quality food. Staff was friendly and efficient. I can't say this for some of the other dinning experiences we had in Newport. This turned out to be our best experience.

It is a limited menu but darn great food! I would recommend either the steak or chicken bomb, though I have not had anything here that I did not like. The owner Mark is a good fellow and the bartenders are the best. It is an excellent place to watch football, baseball, hockey, etc. Many different types of beer, just an all around good place to come to have a good time. Mostly a very welcoming local crowd in a bar with a great atomosphere. Karioke on Friday and Saturday nights were many of Newports undiscovered talent come up and rock the Mic! Cannot say enough good things about this place. Besides it has been the place where I was able to watch Eli whoop up on Brady twice within a few years! You will like it here.
