“Over-rated!”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Has seen better times and does not look very inviting. Needs a serious face-lift - inside and out. Menu is uninspiring and well, there's something better around the corner.

“Best food in Newport”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

Great salads and sandwiches at reasonable prices topped with kind and friendly service. The food was fresh and the portions were more than adequate, but not overdone. The bread was to kill for too! We will return!

“Awesome people and great food”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Marvelous sandwiches, we ordered in advance and received great service. The cold-brewed coffee and the scones were perfect. Everything was so good, we returned for breakfast on Sunday morning. It is a quaint hidden gem, owned by some very caring people. I wish we lived closer!

“Speechless after every bite.”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Best kept secret, not anymore. Rosemary and Thyme is a hidden gem located on Spring Street. This cute little place will offer you the most delicious morning bites you can have in Newport. Stuffed upscale croissants (different options and might varies from day to day), fresh tasty coffee, fresh delicious pastries. If you like chocolate, try the hazelnut/chocolate croissant, my favorite. Everything is fresh made and limited quantities so try to go as early as you can so you have the choice to pick. The ambiance is simply delightful, friendly environment, lovely background music. Matt the chef makes magic with his hands no wonder everything tastes so good and Anna with Krisanne at the front of the house make everyone feel welcomed and provide excellent customer service. If you come to Newport make sure to stop by. :)

“Cute bakery and great home baked goods.”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Ok, bad news first: Seating is limited (like maybe 8 to 10 people max). Also, by 10:30 a.m., when we got there, the stuff croissant sandwiches were sold out.

O.k., the good news: the baked items, especially the muffins, were outstanding. The owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

Definitely will come back, next time a little earlier, and try more things!
