“A fun outing”
Reviewed March 10, 2012

Not too expensive and they provide coffee and pastry for intermission, they encourage BYOB and makes it a fun night out. Every seat is a good seat in thie small theatre, we went for an improv evening - would try it again.

“Fun, inexpensive evening out”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

We were looking for something to do our first evening in Newport and ran across this theater on the Newport tourism website and decided to give it a try. Had a great time! An inexpensive date night...BYOB and found a discount mentioned on their website. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Newport.

Make reservations because the theater is small and sells out quickly!

“Improve for Family”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

We were in Newport last week and noticed a mid-week family improve show. Though they said they were full, we called back and they were able to squeeze us in. The theater is a fun place, and improv was good. Nice neighborhood to explore as well. Would definitely go back when in Newport.

“improv and BYOB-what could be better!”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

There is an improv on weekends at the firehouse theatre. It is fun, entertaining and inexpensive. 2 hours of laughs for about $15. You can bring your own beer and wine(unsure about liquor) and they even supply can openers and cups if you don't have any. They have a rotating group of fun, imaginative players to perform. My husband can be cynical and I love watching him get involved! It's a hidden gem to go and see them!
