My husband and I went on a trip to three destinations in New Engalnd and Newport was our second stay. Everything was wonderful. I would recommend this B&B. The location is great, the breakfast is great, and the service is great.

My wife and I stayed the weekend of the boat show. Great location to downtown. Parking is a little cramped when they are full but extra spaces are ~ 1 block away. We had the Great Gatsby Room on the 2nd floor. Nom real issues with noise. It was very comfortable and spacious. Nice jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was adequate but difficult as it has very limited counter space. The day we arrived they left chocolate in the room which was a nice touch.

During the afternoon they have tea with some snack that were very good. Before dinner they have a wine sample with some cheese, crackers and fruit.

Breakfast was great with a choice of three main dishes and a variety of sides like fruit muffins, yogart, etc.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would defintely return and recommend this inn.

I usually only stay in chain hotels when I go away but based on a relatives review we stayed here for one night. The room was clean, within walking distance to all the shops, greeted every time we walked in, breakfast was decent, and it was a nice place. Everything seemed well kept and they even made sure to turn the AC on in the room before we got there so it wouldn't be too hot!

Stayed in the Adele Turner inn and the best thing was trying to figure out why it was named Adele Turner - when all the pictures are by her daughter Beatrice who was very eccentric narcissistic painter and there's no connection to the Inn per se.

The location was great - walking distance to town attractions - short drive to cliff walk. The breakfast was creative and good - didn't live up to all the hype though. Offered discount tickets to the mansions so don't buy ahead. Parking included and a perk given very little on street parking.

Quiet rooms except when a firecracker went off nearby at 5:00 am. Went to a beach hotel for second night at half the price and while not so picturesque very comfortable with gym and jacuzzi included.

Room Tip: Fireplaces working in the colder months only - TVs are flat screen but small hidden behind mirrored...

A cosy and very well-located B&B in the heart of Newport, close both to the harbour attractions and Bellevue Av. Gentle and cheerful young staff, excellent breakfeast. Small but well-kept rooms - average B&B standard, ours had a working fireplace. Neither owner nor staff reside in the house, you are on your own together with the other guests from 5 pm to 7 am. Good parking facilities. A reasonably priced and charming way to stay when visiting Newport.

There are some people who truly love being in the hotel industry, and it's clear that Cheryl and her staff are those people. We were greeted by name upon arrival, and every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Carlton gave us especially good service. We booked the Tycoon Suite, which is spacious and quiet, as it's on the 3rd floor. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. My only suggestion would be to have bottled water in the room. They do have a cooler of spring water on the 1st floor, but it's not convenient to trek down there late at night. Bring your own water bottle and fill it up.

The breakfast is amazing and again the staff made special effort to accommodate us. I have a gluten free diet, and some wonderful muffins and scones were made available from a nearby bakery. There's also plentiful fresh fruit, yogurt, granola. The hot meals that came out of the kitchen were excellent. My husband enjoyed his breakfast both mornings, and we heard other guests commenting on the excellent food, as well.

The location really is ideal. Just a few block from Bowen's Wharf, but on a very quiet and pretty block. We enjoyed the porch in the evenings after going out.

The inn keepers purchased this hotel just 2 years ago, and are still trying to "bring it back." Some of the common areas could use a refreshing of the carpet and wallpaper.
We really enjoyed our stay here and the many thoughtful touches that are part of the experience. I would definitely recommend this property.

Room Tip: The harborview suite and the Tycoon suite are on the 3rd floor and are very quiet. Steps to the 3rd...
