“a true irish pub”
Reviewed August 20, 2010

Most places we tried on a Sat. night were mobbed, but Buskers had room. Excellent fish & chips and good corned beef and cabbage. Stick to the basics and you won't be disappointed. Reasonably priced.

“Very good traditional irish pub”
Reviewed August 11, 2010

This pub has it all -- posters from the Irish Times, the Irish declaration of independence, barouns and tinwhistles. They server shepherd's pie and bangers. We opted for more "american" fare and were not disappointed. The chicken ceasar salad was very good and pretty big. The french onion soup was slightly better than your average pub fare because they used pumpernickel croutons for extra flavor. My husband ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, which he enjoyed. The best part though was their fries. We should have just ordered fries -- they were FANTASTIC. They were clearly hand-cut and home-made and just really, really good. They are worth a trip back in and of themselves. Service was nice, friendly and Irish. If you like irish pubs, you'll be pleased.

“Good pub food.”
Reviewed July 22, 2010

Busker's tries to pull off a traditional pub atmosphere, and generally succeeds.

The food was tasty, the drinks were great and the service was friendly and quick.

Nice place to have a pub meal and a beer whilst looking out over Thames Street. It won't blow your socks off, but you'll get a good meal at a good price.

“Nice find on a crowded July Friday”
Reviewed July 11, 2010

Had four adults and needed to find a place for a meal at 7:00 on a Friday night. Had read about Busker's on this site. Great recommendation. Real nice pub atmosphere, roomy booth, great service, very good food... I had BBQ beef special and it was great. Had no trouble getting in, whereas other more "touristy" places had substantial waits. Would go again in a heartbeat.....
