I loved the views and the walk is just fun to do. I wish we had more time to do it all.. but, it does make for the next visit a must do.

Beautiful setting, loved to look down at the water and occasionally see water fowl. And also enjoyed meeting the many dogs being walked since we were missing ours. If I lived here, I would visit the Cliff Walk every day!

We joined the walk at Ruggles and walked towards Memorial. The walk is closed on the other side of Ruggles due to Hurricane Sandy. Still the walk was a great way to get some exercise, fresh air and view the exteriors of some of the mansions in Newport. Parking on the street was limited to those with fishing permits, but we had no problem parking there despite that...probably because it was off season.

About half of the walk was closed since our last visit due to Hurricane Sandy. Some of the most spectacular parts were not accessible. Still, very worthwhile doing on a nice day.

My husband and I joined the Cliff Walk at Narragansett and walked all the way to the Breakers. Beautiful walk! Construction did block us from going any farther past the Breakers, but we thoroughly enjoyed the walk and reversed our route after visiting the Breakers. So as not to deal with the parking problems mentioned, we took a lovely 40 minute walk from the downtown Marriott through local neighborhoods, which gave us a great feel for the island. Highly recommend!
