I wish I could give the hotel 3 1/2 stars instead of just 3 or 4. I stayed at this hotel one night for business in the Buffalo area. I booked the hotel through my firm's travel agent. I was hesitant when reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when I got there. The hotel complex is massive, with a great number of ballrooms/conference rooms. The hotel was quiet and was a little bit dead when I was there.
I agree with other posters that the rooms are very old and worn out, however, I found the room to be very clean and comfortable. My two standards for cleanliness are the bathroom, which was spotless, and the bed and linens, which were equally clean. The hotel facilities were also nice, with a restaurant and bar/lounge as well as a nice business center with free printing and copying services (except no scanner!). There was also a nice looking courtyard and indoor pool, which I did not use.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers, but would hesitate recommending it for anyone traveling for "pleasure." The rooms are very dated and worn out, and the price doesn't match the quality of the rooms. But for a business traveler this hotel is just fine.
