If you love beautiful architecture (Frank Lloyd Wright) and history, Forest Lawn Cemetery is a must see! You can walk through on your own or take a paid tour via trolley or walking (check out the website). Bring your camera!

It is hard to describe a cemetery as a park and place of serenity, beauty, and of historical proportion, yet here we have it in our own backyard

Yes Mary... WNY is the country's best kept secret. With the beauty of the city and surrounding areas plus authentic history aren't we lucky to have this all in like you said, "Our own back yard?"

Thanks for suggesting our tours... The summer season begins on June 16 with our famous Civil War tours. Then starting June 23, we will begin our ever popular history tours.... both walking and trolley tours every Sunday! See you on the Lawn!
