“Great”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Went for dinner after a show at Shea's, finding a restaurant open on Sunday is difficult in the city. We sat on the patio, which is decorated and landscaped very nicely. Our waiter was very nice and efficient and the food was excellent. We had panko crusted goat cheese for an app (super good) and I had the Social Pork, which I loved and my friend had the Stuffed Chicken over rice, which she loved. I look forward to going back and having some cocktails and trying some of the small plates that I didn't have a chance to try the last time. Definitely give this place a try.

“First time here. WILL BE BACK”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014 via mobile

Tried the "new place" across the street from our old standard, the Left Bank. VERY NICE SURPRISE

EXCELLENT MENU AND PREP

I oysters (super fresh). Great Providence salad with goat cheese.

Had spicy buffalo cheesy rotini: this was 100% fantastic

Bartender (Troy?) was spot on with great drinks including my favorite, Sazarac.

Will definitely be back as regulars

“Charming and romantic new spot for small shared plates”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in last night to check out their local restaurant week specials. We did not have a reservation and decided to eat at the bar. Our bartender was extremely friendly and fixed us some cocktails off the house specials list. For food, you got to pick three small plates from a list of seven (most of which are on the regular menu) and had a choice of dessert for $20. Cocktails were $10 and of a decent size.
The food was delicious. We loved the tangy/spicy house pork belly, the pulled pork egg rolls, the french onion dumplings with au jus dipping sauce. The salmon bread pudding was interesting, but could have used a bit more flavor. The tuna tartare was nice too, but the legume-tasting 'cake' the tuna sat on just ate up all the flavor of the sauces artfully arranged on the plate.
The rest of the menu warrants another trip or two for sure. The atmosphere was friendly, romantic, and upscale without being pretentious...and priced accordingly. Can't wait to come back. The Rhode Island / Lexington neighborhoods have no shortage of great restaurants tucked away slightly from the traffic of Elmwood Ave.
