Small shops, very alternative. Plenty of restaurants. Nice to see those old houses now occupied by new people that keep that place living.

Beautiful homes, parks, museums, and businesses. Albright Knox and burchfield penny are here, along with Delaware park and a few of Olmsted's beautiful parkways. Check out Lincoln avenue and bidwell to see turn of the century mansions. 700 block of elmwood has nice little shops and restaurants. Panos is a great place for lunch as it opens up nicely in the warmer months. Be sure to check out the amazing hh Richardson center if you are an architecture nut.

The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts showcases the best in Buffalo's creativity. The festival features over one-hundred local artists and craftspeople, four stages featuring musicians, dancers, actors and puppeteers, over seventy arts and cultural organizations, solar powered stages and award winning, hands-on arts and crafts activities for children of all ages and food from aroun dthe world.. If you want to spend a weekend in Buffalo and witness the Renaissance of a city this is a great place to start. It's like a Taste-of but of culture and creativity.

No matter what your needs, you'll find it in Elmwood Villiage. Great neighborhood restaurants covering a wide range of cuisine, boutiques, or just stroll and people watch.
