This is a funky part of town with loads of interesting shops and restaurants and at the end of August, a wonderful arts and crafts festival.

We have the Lexington coop, amazing restaurants like wasabi and blue monk, and shops, shops, shops! The unique atmosphere of Elmwood village has something for everyone. It's a great place to walk around, grab a bite, a drink, or even an ice cream. Awesome!

Many different types of restaurants, eateries, and shops. Anything from formal restaurants to quick and casual coffee shops. I would check out Globe Market for lunch.

My girlfriend and I drove into Buffalo from East Aurora for a night of fun. On a Thursday evening, there was not a lot of fun to be had. Downtown is desserted at 10pm.

We eventually made our way to Elmwood Street (the main drag). Though not as busy as I had anticipated, we found a great bar, Blue Monk. It was full of locals. They were warm people, great conversationalists. The band was good fun.

Overall, a pleasant evening out.

Elmwood was a great place to shop and eat. There was actually people out and about on the street. Downtown was an absolute ghost town. We took the bus from downtown and then walked along Elmwood to the Delaware Park area.

Try the mexican pizza at Elmwood Taco & Subs. That was different and interesting.
