Honestly, I didn't expect much from visiting this house, but instead I was blown away by all the historical knowledge I came away with. The presentation at the Wilcox house takes you into the year 1901 and float through the events of McKinley's assassination and Roosevelt's step into history. Each room has a phase of the events of the inauguration so you feel like you are Roosevelt and you are being put into the position to guide America through the 20th century. After you walk the rooms, you go upstairs and experience interactive computer stations that lets you experience being president! This is great for kids, but also for adults it broadens your depth of understanding of President Roosevelt.
