My wife and I and another couple went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Although unpretentious on the outside (probably nicer in the summer with patio open) the inside was quite nice and the overall atmosphere very good. the food was excellent. We tried a seared tuna appetizer, done without wasabi, but with a very different vegetable combination that added a definite kick to the dish! I had a Grog and Gruel (Guinness used in a spare rib dish) that was very very good. One of the other dishes served was a hanger steak that was quite delicious. A good test as this can be a tough cut to do correctly. Service was excellent, with no push to get us out, even when we lingered for a while with after dinner drinks. The restaurant was busy, with adjacent tables occupied, but we had no problem in our conversations. Overall, I will be back and soon.
