B-Sides is exactly as the title advertises--the alternative history of Buffalo. You can tell that Marc really cares about researching and sharing the lesser-told narratives of the city. The tour is around 8 miles long, and the bike riding in between the tour stops is a great time to get to know the other people in the group! Would love to see an extension of the tour that goes more to the east side, but this tour was also an ideal amount of time and land covered. Thanks Marc!

Aww thanks, Nina! It was great having you on the tour and appreciate the review.

Will have to regroup after this season and consider how to expand next – an East Side ride that delves into the Polish/ German/ African American history would be interesting!

Hope to see you again and stay tuned for more tours next season!!

Marc is very polite and knowledgeable about the history of the City of Buffalo. His groups are small so you do not have to struggle to hear his presentations. I truly enjoyed the ride and the information.

Marc is a great storyteller! He is quite knowledgeable about the cultural history of Buffalo and how its history has made an impact on current events. The tour is great for those who are from out of town or for current residents. It's a great way to get some exercise, enjoy the weather, meet new people, and learn the city.

Thanks, Gairy! Appreciate the review. While we may have differing views on free-market capitalism, we can both agree Buffalo history is awesome :)

Thanks so much showing up for the ride and for your feedback and support. You've definitely been there since day one. Can't wait to roll out some additional rides next year – we'll have to get a group from Dupont out.

Hope to see you again!

The B-Sides tour was a very informative and eye opening experience for me, especially as I have spent most of my life in Buffalo (I live in the midwest now) and didn't know anything about most of these alternative histories and places. Marc is an excellent guide, and I really liked how he performed songs along the ride, which was very creative and quirky (he brings a bit of the Portland, Oregon freak flag to Buffalo, which is much needed and welcomed). Overall, this was an amazing experience for those interested in Buffalo's radical legacy. I highly recommend the ride.

Thanks so much, David! Appreciate the kind words. I'm glad the tour helped you see Buffalo in a new light.

Next time you're back here in the spring, you'll have to join us for another ride. Hoping to roll out a couple new options next year, and we'll have to host you.

Remember, it's alternative history, not alternative facts! (hey, that's a good tagline lol).

It was a great adventure. Marc was knowledgeable and it shown that he researched the information he presented. It rained dust still was a lot of fun. I hope that he has more bike tours in the future. I certainly would go again
