Recommended very highly. Kudos to the staff. Beautiful building. Starting with outside statues and then moving through the displays inside was a real treat.

The place is worth the expense. Tells of the perils that the Indian had to go through, the lies that they where told along with the hardships of the settlers trying to make themselves a life. Pleasant hostess on site.

This museum is dedicated to cowboys and especially those who have competed in various rodeo contests over the year. The early cowboy information is wonderful and the museum does a good job of integrating dioramas and artifacts with other displays so that kids as well as adults can enjoy the place. It took about 2.5 hours to go through the entire museum but families could move through more quickly by skipping the upstairs hall of fame areas. It is a very good way to find out about our cowboy heritage.

I visited the museum with a friend. I liked how it told about the various ranches in North Dakota, history of the Native Americans and famous rodeo cowboys and cowboy girls. Take time to go upstairs and learn about the different ranches.
