I was told to go see this, but was tired and decided against it. Then a couple approached us and ask if we wanted tickets free. We said sure. I am so thankful they offered them to us, to have missed this would be a mistake. It's an outdoor theater with stadium style seating that was pretty comfortable. It is a good bit of country music, some oldies, and just plain fun. During the second half a comedian comes out and this guy had me in tears from laughing so hard. It's also very touching talking about President T. Roosevelt's conservation of the area, as well as a local family, and many others. After traveling in the area for several days and remembering a lot of history lessons and learning the depth of things I didn't know about, this was truly the cherry on top.

I was really disappointed by this show. It was just a disjointed amalgam of country music songs. there was no story, no flow, no attempt at relating it to the town. I don't know what the game shows skit was all about?? and it seemed to cater more to children- why they had all the little kids come up on stage to basically give them a toy microphone just seemed a waste of time. I was also bothered by how much cross promotion they did- come see some other show in town or do the gospel brunch, so on. The singers were professionals because they get paid not because they had any talent. we left at intermission.

This was my first show and it was mostly singing about nothing, had absolutely nothing about the founding and history of Medora or Roosevelt National Park. Very disappointed. Others were disappointed too.

It was the crowning finish to summer. The energy of the dancers and singers was amazing, especially since 4 of them had also done singing and a little dancing at the morning Gospel Brunch. Not much time left, since the musical ends Sept. 8, but go if you can. Every year the line-up of acts changes, but we were lucky this year because "Teddy Roosevelt" came out to talk and there was a small re-enactment of San Juan Hill, complete with gunfire and horses. I especially like "Ghost Riders in the Sky" and the horsemen who rode up the hill behind the stage. Then the fireworks. But beware!
It is cold in the evening. A winter jacket would be an asset! Lots of things to see in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. All around great place.

Wow! What a great show! The venue is top-notch with adequate parking, good traffic flow, a well-built amphitheater, a double level escalator, and good outdoor seating. The show itself is great -- a colorful, entertaining, well-done production. The show changes each year; if we did not live so far away, we'd see it every year!
