A Realy Nice Country Style Hotel

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Nov 24, 2017
This is more a lodge than a hotel, with spacious rooms and very nice public areas.

We made use of the laundry and had dinner in the Bar.

The included breakfast was very good.

The grounds are very attractive.

First class all the way. The rooms are renovated, updated and everything is new. Comfortable bed. Thick towels and nice bath amenities. The view from the room is warming, looking out at the pines and woods. The grounds offer walking trails. Plenty of parking.

Where do I begin, well for starters my 9 year old daughter said that “the North Pole Experience was one of the most fun things she has ever done”. Now, this can from a kid that said before we were leaving “don’t you think I’m too old for this” and “I guess it might be a little fun”.
For starters staying at the hotel was a fantastic way to start the whole experience. From check in to food servers all the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean. The room was wonderful with a view of the Christmas lights out back.
The on property playground surrounded by pine trees was a huge hit with my daughter. The whole property was decorated with Christmas lights and decorations and was very festive. The North Pole Experience leaves directly from the property which makes this a perfect place to stay. The North Pole Experience was so fun and authentic feeling (not disneyish or overly done a little home spun which I liked)..Then head back to the hotel for a good nights sleep in their comfy beds. The next morning we headed for their breakfast with santa and had a wonderful buffet. Santa was amazing. He was honestly one of the best Santa’s. He was friendly and kind (the real beard didn’t hurt or the twinkling blue eyes either), authentic for sure. Also, you and your child get a lot of time with him to take pictures and chat not like the rush line at the mall. This guy will have even the adults realizing that santa actually is real. Great trip, great fun. All in all worth every penny and then some.

This place is a great venue for weddings and for seasonal light photos and just to visit. The staff are all extremely friendly and the rooms are cute and cozy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting flagstaff. You're a short drive from downtown, right off the 40, and also have ease of access to the other side of town :)

Room tip: the back is beautiful :)

We stayed in lodge 3 that has been completely renovated. It is absolutely beautiful and spacious! I love that it had 2 vanity/sink areas and a wonderful soaking tub. We did the walking trail out back that was very fun! The lobby and restaurant area are gorgeous! Can't wait to stay here again!!

Room tip: Definitely get the renovated rooms in lodges 3 and 4
