I stayed in this classic hotel a number of times over 25 years ago, while living in Tucson, and I always loved it. Recently my husband and I were driving from Santa Barbara to Colorado Springs and Flagstaff was the perfect half way point, so there was no question about where we would stay. This hotel has been beautifully maintained and the service is excellent. When we checked in, we were upgraded for returning after many years. I mentioned that I had stayed there in the past and had selected it again on this trip without even checking the reviews, because I had such wonderful memories from previous stays.
The rooms are huge with a separate sitting area and the bathrooms are also very large. There are black out drapes, and the bed is comfortable, firmer than many. Even the couch was quite comfortable. The location is immediately off of I-40, so no time is wasted driving to the facility. Like other Little America hotels, they have a full service restaurant as well as a service station and convenience store. This is a huge complex and there is ample free parking. This is an excellent choice if you are staying in Flagstaff, and we would most definitely stay there again.
