Oh my God, do not go anywhere near this dump! The ceilings had large, unrepaired holes, the place was INFESTED with bedbugs and insects of many kinds (and they bite, too!) It is nothing but a bottom class old wrecked crudhole of an excuse of a motel. 2 stars this place was given by Hotwire-what a joke! This places didn't even deserve 1-really! Noisy, drug deals going on in the back parking lot, their parking lot was full of deep, nasty potholes and cracks and it flooded with only a little rain, too! Why would ANYONE stay there? Beats me, it really does. Rooms smelled awful, desk people were rude, condescending, and completely unhelpful, the train noise was outrageous, and the so-called continental breakfast was cold coffee, bad orange juice, and an old packaged cinamon roll! Yikes, for goodness sake, do not even consider this place.

Well, the 1st motel I stopped in had a scary looking dude behind the counter. The 2nd one smelled, The Americana seemed better than the 2 and was relatively cheap. About 50 bucks!
They were doing renovation on the outside, which could eventually mean good things. But inside..... I don't think they ever vacuumed the carpet. There was a lot of dust in the shower soap dish and some of the towels did not seem very clean. The bed was uncomfortable, on the verge of falling apart. Then came time for sleep, and it sounded like a real life cheesy porno flick next door. When we told the person at the front desk about it in the morning, she said, "oh, that's Alfonso's room, he works here"
Other than that they were friendly. We did not try the breakfast. We were happy to check out!

Block of rooms were booked as a part of softball team travelling. Our room had barely a twin size bed...called a queen bed. The toilet paper holder had no roller, however another was mounted in shower area????
Picture over bed had broken glass in frame..half glass was missing, other half left in frame. Trash was on top of shelf above shower by window. Hair was stuck in corner of bathroom either in grout or wiped to corner and left. Railing was rusted through on second floor balcony area, outside of several rooms our group had. Very unsafe/unsanitary rooms for $85.00 per night.
I worked in hospitality management industry as management for 17 years total...this hotel should be CONDEMNED...we were not expecting the Ritz Carlton....but we were also were not expecting a downgraded dump that makes any other economy hotel look like the Ritz-Carlton.
Reservations were booked through Orbitz...this hotel should not even be ranked a 1 star...let alone a 3 star....Save your money and stay away from this rat trap of a motel/hotel...or whatever they are calling it. I would be embarassed to accept monies from people for this type of hotel....especially $85.00 a nite...what a joke!!!

Clean-ish (bathroom was a little dingy), ok bed, not enough towels (and one was wet...nasty!). But cheap, friendly staff, free wifi, good cable channels...It's a cheap, too tired to drive further, acceptable motel.

Found the hotel over the weekend the busy weekend. The room had basic services I needed strong internet, refrigerator, and was clean. Overall they have a great location and a coffee shack in the parking lot perfect for the morning.

Thins walls and windows. You can hear what is going on in the other rooms and outside. Old and inferior room furnishings. Odors. Broken smoke detectors. Front desk area and continetal breakfast are pathetic. Not a good neighborhood.

Let's be frank; this is not a four star hotel - but for the price (we paid $45 per night for four nights) it's actually a good place to stay. If you are looking for a sterile environment, look elsewhere - but I found the room fairly clean with no hidden 'surprises'. The shower was AWESOME, one of the best I've seen (and yes, I've experienced the Holiday Inn Express Showerheads) with great water pressure. After a day of hiking it felt fantastic. The beds are adequate. The maid service was pretty good as well. There was construction on the main highway that the hotel was on, and yes, there are trains that go by throughout the day and night - but unless you are a light sleeper I don't see it being that much of an issue. Nearby the motel are many places to eat, from fast food to foreign cuisine.
PROS: Good location, good price, plenty of parking, good shower, good selection of cable channels (no premium channels however).
CONS: Not the cleanest, light switch to bathroom worked intermittently, shortage of free electrical plugs.
