This hotel was right off the 40. We had myself, my mom and three kids in our travel group. Since a room with two queens AND a sofa bed was and option and it was a little more pricey we shared this type. It worked well until the morning when we all had to get ready to leave and the bathroom was teeny, tiny (even for hotel standards). The breakfast was average, nothing any other hotel offers. We stayed here on our way East. We stayed somewhere else, with a better price on the way back...Which we liked better too. Wouldn't stay here again.

Thank you for taking a few moments to let others know about our hotel. While we love our mini suites because they work well for a smaller extended family, we understand the bathrooms are a bit tiny. However, we are glad that you were all able to share a room to keep expenses down. Our breakfast is often complimented by others because all of the hot items we have. Hope you had a chance to enjoy those hot, fresh items on our buffet each morning.

There are many choices in Flagstaff that suit all of our individual needs. We are so glad you found one that worked for you. All of the hotels in Flagstaff are very close and we love that you still stayed in our great little town.

We stayed one night at this Days Inn. Our room was tiny with a restroom the size of a matchbox. The furniture in the room was torn, the bedspread was so old it was thread thin and the bed was saggy. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room, just a small square of tiles where it was supposed to be. And the restroom was so small, you could hardly move in it. When you opened the door, it hit the shower curtain, if you put the floor mat down, you couldn't open or close the door. You had to move in a circle to do anything in there! The complimentary breakfast was just okay. It wasn't bad, it's just that most of the food was ready to eat type food such as instant oatmeal, donuts. The pluses are that the front desk people were very nice. The pool was actually good, it was a good temperature and there was plenty of room to sit at the tables and chairs in the pool room. They had plenty of pool towels too. The complimentary breakfast was just okay.

Thank you so much for your review. It is important for all to see the good and the bad. Since your review, we have redone every least thread of our bedding from new pillows all the way to the dust ruffles... We are so happy with our new product. I do believe we are the first Days Inn in the family to get this new color scheme and layout. I wish it was just as easy to change our layout of rooms. We know they are small, but we make the most of what we have and pay special attention to other great areas of our property.

We appreciate all comments and would love for you to come try one of our bigger suites and see our new look.

Stayed here while driving cross country. Staff was nice, great breakfast area. Pool area was clean.

Room was nice - again pet friendly hotel and that was a plus. Could hear neighbors walking around, showering. One negative was the sheets. They had numerous holes which were sewn (loosely) together.

Overall not bad. Would probably stay here again

Thank you for your response on Trip Advisor. I am so happy to say that in the next few weeks, our entire facility will be getting new linens. We have been waiting on some plumbing which will allow us to have soft water and bright white laundry. Our water in town is so hard that we cannot begin the install of the new linens until we soften our water.

However, there is no excuse for torn sheets and we will let housekeeping know to remove what torn linens we have until then.

Thank you for your kind words and for bringing this to our attention.

Come back and see us soon for our brand new look...

Look, let's face it. If you're staying in Flagstaff simply because it's a good starting-off point to see all of the great sights from Sedona to the Grand Canyon and from Meteor Canyon to all points east, you're going to be spending more time on the road than in the motel so what difference does it make if there isn't a lounge, if the bathroom isn't the size of a studio apartment, or whatever other very picky things I've seen people harp about when they discuss budget hotels. Here's what you'll get with this hotel: 1) Easy access to I-40/I-17 which will take you to wherever you need to go; 2) Free hot/cold breakfast; 3) Indoor pool; 4) Free Wi-Fi; 5) Great, very reasonable price; 6) Convenient location to tons of family-oriented restaurants. I found the staff at the reception desk to be very friendly.

My only complaints: 1) The cleaning staff were rude and pushy. I don't know if they get to leave when they're finished cleaning their respective set of rooms, but heaven forbid you're still around by 8:30. Someone needs to explain to them what the concept of a "guest" means.
2) The ladies cleaning the breakfast area were busy talking about some of the guests and complaining about them in Spanish. I understand Spanish enough to know what was being said but even if one didn't know Spanish, it was easy to pick up the eye gestures and body language to know what was going on. Do people who speak about other people in front of them really think it's OK to do that as long as it's done in a foreign language??? I wouldn't tolerate this as the hotel manager and I don't care how reasonbly-priced the room was, as a guest of the place nothing galls me more than those who rely on Spanish or any other language for that matter as a means to get away talking about people in front of them, like they were idiots. If it weren't for this I would have given it a higher rating. Days Inn needs to do some house-cleaning of their own. I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd love to earn that money who might have been taught some values by their parents.

Thank you for letting us know about the great's and the no so great's about your stay. I am happy you did find some items to enjoy here at our property but am concerned about the negativity we left you with upon your departure.

I have used this response as a topic for discussion amongst our entire team. I have also made them fully area of our priorities and how to treat the guests during a stay. I hope this incident was far and few between, but am so thankful for your response because it opened a lot of windows for discussion amongst our team. Thank you for that tool!

Hopefully next time you are in the area, we can show you what we are really all about!

This hotel was pretty average for a Day's Inn. It was clean and had a friendly, helpful staff. We thought the bed was too firm. It had a tiny bathroom with an outer sink area that had almost no counter space. Our biggest complaint was hearing the train every 15 minutes or so during the night blasting its horn. We would probably pass on this one next time.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. While some people in town just love the trains, they can be somewhat of a headache at times. The whistle was blowing for about 2 weeks straight when there was construction going on 24 hour shifts, but most of the time what you are hearing is a whistle that is at the intersections letting drivers know of a train approaching. We do have double pained windows for that very reason, but some conductors tend to make more noise than others.

I am glad the other aspects of your stay were great and please do think about trying us once again. I hope your experience will be different with less noise.

Have a great rest of your summer!

This is not a resort destination, it's more like a business hotel. There is no lounge, restaurant, lobby sitting area, outdoor pool or landscaped patio. Having said that, it's a great place to stay for tourists on the go with a must see agenda. We stayed with old friends, and had adjoining rooms. My wife and I had a "mini suite", which meant a standard double queen plus a small sofa, microwave, and fridge. Between the two rooms, we and our friends had ample storage for take home from the nearby Sizzler, chilled wine, lunch prep and cooler pacs. The rooms were vPery clean, and fully serviced. Downside: the sink area was extremely small, and there was no bar for hanging hand towels. The tv in our room was an older CRT, while our friends had a flat screen. On the plus side, every day was a day trip for us in our rental car. The hotel has great access to old 66, US 10 , and routes to other local sights. Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater and the pueblo ruins, south to Sedona. The great strength of this hotel is service. The staff is great! The General Manager, Cindy Iniguez does an awesome job for her guests, from start to finish, as do the rest of the desk staff. While the breakfast area was small and sometimes crowded, the staff kept the biscuits and delicious gravy comings. All in all, we would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks, Cindy!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for taking the time to let others know about your stay. We are so happy you and your friends had a great stay during your trip to Flagstaff. There really is so much to do here in Flagstaff.

We did just recently change out all of our TV's to new 32" flat screens in the entire hotel. We have new HD channels and have the clearest picture ever.

I am so glad that you were able to enjoy breakfast here at the property and enjoy our facility. If you ever make it back out this way, we would love to see you again!
