If you are heading to the high country with dogs in tow this is a great dog-friendly hotel. There is a dog-run at the back of the property, a grassy area (see pics) partially fenced where dogs can play, plenty of poop-bags posted around the property. There were many dogs staying at the hotel when we were there.

There is a short FUTS trail (Flagstaff Urban Trail System) through an open prairie. This section is in the plans for expansion. There is a public park a short walk away.

This is a suites hotel. High-speed internet was free and worked great. We had a studio with one queen bed, a sofa bed and a full-size kitchen with stove top and oven. For dining, there was only a kitchen bar with two bar stools. The decor is a little old, but everything was clean. Toiletries were replenished as needed. Our room had a tub not just a shower as some have reported. So rooms must be a little different. Staff was friendly. There is a coffee maker with Maxwellhouse coffee. The coffee was not replenished, but we went to the front desk and were given as many packets as we wanted. Also, we had a problem folding up the sofa bed and the front desk sent someone over within 5 minutes. The problem was operator-error :^)

There is a breakfast buffet included. There were scrambled eggs, French toast or pancakes, cereals, yogurt, hot oatmeal, muffins, donuts, orange juice, coffee. There is a dining area with several tables, but plastic-ware is provided to take your breakfast back to your room.

Overall a great place to stay if you have dogs and need a place that really is dog-friendly and not just dog-tolerant.

Arrived in the evening after driving up from Phoenix. Staff was pleasant and helpful during our stay. Problem arose about 11pm this evening, as a guest overhead had evidently just checked in and we woke up as you could clearly hear each and every step they took across the room, the sink running and toilet flushing. I had never ever stayed at a hotel where you could hear everything from the room above. It was about 2 hours before they settled in and we were able to go back to sleep. The next day, the manager was very accommodating and agreed to move us to an upstairs unit for our 2nd night. The breakfast was good, the grounds were well maintained, we found it convenient, a little out of the way and quieter than some other areas.

Overall, a nice stay.... and yes, we did hear trains through the night as I have read on some other reviews.

Stayed one night on way to Disneyland and another night on the way home. Front desk staff were friendly, room was comfortable and QUIET! Hotel is not near train tracks as so many are in Flagstaff and it is just far enough off the Interstate, you don't hear any traffic noise. A great nights sleep.

What a horrible stay! We stay at a Residence Inn whenever possible because of the quality of the rooms and staff. This one only gives you free in room coffee the first night after that you have to pay for it, no conditioner or lotion- you have to ask. At check in they asked if we wanted the 1st or 2nd floor, we said 1st as long as it was quiet. They put us in a room where the person on the 2nd floor was long stay and was up between 1AM to 4:30 AM. The first night we thought they may have been ill because there was a pile of sheets under the stairs the next morning. Upon returning to the hotel the second day they told me he had “late hours” and that the person who checked us in should have known. When we got to the room it had never been cleaned. Since we had less than a ¼ roll of TP (at check in) and none under the sink, my husband found a cart at another building and grabbed new linens and TP! When I complained the next morning we were advised that it would be cleaned first. They never even made the bed just pulled up the covers left the pillows on the floor (I put them there), we got 2 wash rags and no new towels. The grounds were dirty; I saw a pile of silly string at the same spot as well as cigarette butts all over. The manager called us at 4:30 PM that night and I told her all our problems, she was going to take 50% off the second night as we were on the special stay three days get third night free. On the day we checked out they left the bill and guess what no discount! I had to go to the front desk and correct the bill. I will never stay here again!

We had a "girls" weekend in Flagstaff and loved our stay here. The rooms are suites and we fit 3 comfortably in the king suite. We could cook in the kitchen (modestly equipped) and had room cleaning daily. The BIG pluses for this property is that it is easy to get too, conveniently located so we couldhop on the highway to visit Sedona & the Grand Canyon and they have the most amazing complimentary breakfasts. Every morning we had fresh waffles, hot foods (scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.) , cold foods (cereals, fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt) and it is restocked and in a nice clean space. If/when we get to go back to this area, I will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed at Residence Inns in 8 or 9 cities as we drove across the country last fall, and this one was the worst. As soon as I walked in to the "non-smoking" room, the stench of smoke hit me in the face. We should have asked for a new room but were tired from traveling and didn't want the hassle.

The room, esp. the bathroom, was pretty worn out and needed updating. The shower or something had leaked and the carpet outside the bathroom was wet when we arrived.

The smoke was the worst part. We complained when calling to check out and the person at the desk said "Thank you" and basically hung up on us. I complained later via Marriott's web site, and my comments were forwarded to the manager, who seemed snippy in his/her email in response to my complaints. He/she said they would credit several thousand points to our Marriott rewards account, which seemed like a nice gesture, but then we never got the points in our account.

We decided to do a one day trip to Snowbowl with our 2 teenage sons. We stayed 1 night at the Residence Inn. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. And although the bedrooms were a little small, the overall room was quite nice and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was extrememly nice and helpful.
The breakfast was great, they had a large variety and everything was hot and fresh. I would definitely stay here again.
