Stayed here for one night during a road trip, one of many hotels we used during our three week trip.To be honest, it's difficult to find anything that stands out about this hotel. It seemed quite impersonal. The front desk didn't seem to have a site map so it took us longer than necessary to find the 'south'block.
Couldn't find the bed firmness remote so can't say what that was like. The coffee in the room was not very good and surprisingly no coffee in the front hall...even in the morning...good old Starbucks!!!
It was all quite impersonal...the staff were friendly enough but no warmth.
I'm sure there are more homely hotels in Flagstaff

Our management and staff are disappointed that we were not able to 'Wow' you during your stay, though we're pleased that you found our employees friendly. We certainly do have maps of the hotel/rooms to assist guests in finding their accommodations, and will, based on your comments, ensure that we are handing these out to guests as a standard. Thank you for letting us know that this was not being done appropriately. We do ask our guests, if there are problems with the Sleep Number Beds, that you let us know so that we can correct the issue ASAP -- these beds are great allowing you to adjust the firmness of the mattress -- but they are mechanical and are used often (nightly) - thus do occasionally require repair. Our housekeeping staff does check them routinely when cleaning the rooms, however sometimes an issue arises when a guest is in the room and we depend on the guest to let us know so that we can make it right.
As a team, we work very hard to ensure we exceed our guests expectations, if we've failed in this for you, we truly apologize and will work even harder to ensure we are providing each guest with 'Wow' service.

We traveled to Flagstaff for Labor day weekend 20090 and stayed over night on Sunday. We found the hotel to be much more than expected. The out door heated pool was great as were the 2 hot tub spas (one inside and one outside). The work out room is nicely appointed with quality equipment. The room was nice and clean with wonderful beds that are super comfortable and great bedding. The room was a bit small to fit 2 queen size beds but nothing to complian about. The hotel is situated on the old route 66 but there was no noise from traffic or trains that other hotels expierience. Overall a very good place to stay and will certainly consider stayiong there next time we are in Flagstaff.

We totally enjoyed our visit to the Radisson Woodlands Hotel. The staff was excellent. When we arrived, they very generously upgraded us to a wonderful suite. I have to say that made our entire weekend. We were both feeling burnt out and needed a relaxing weekend and we got that. It felt very luxurious to us, having the two rooms and a gorgeous bathroom. The bed was amazing - it was a sleep number bed with luxury linens. The first night we slept like 12 hours! That never happens at home.
The hotel was very clean and quiet and the staff was great. We ate dinner one night at the Japanese restaurant and really enjoyed that as well.
We go to Flagstaff 2 or 3 times a year and would prefer to stay at the Radisson Woodlands. We often find a good price directly through the Radisson site.
This is our favorite of the bigger hotels in Flagstaff and we have stayed at quite a few.

Love the sleep-number beds, the well-furnished rooms, and the darkness level when the lights are out. Less than a mile to downtown, makes a good walk. Protected from the sound of train whistles all night also which can be a problem with some close to downtown lodging.

The hotel is nice. Very clean, nice linens, etc. Unfortunately, my husband and son did not like the sleep number beds. It does sort of feel like you're sleeping on an air mattress. The in-room coffee machine took about 40 minutes to brew 3 cups! We did get a great deal so I can't complain much, just disappointed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We are happy that you enjoyed the room, upgraded linens and were pleased with the cleanliness (which our team takes great pride in providing).
Though many guests love our Sleep Number Beds and enjoy searching for their perfect 'sleep number' , adjusting the firmness of the mattress, you may not know that we do still offer guestrooms with standard mattresses. If you're not happy with your Sleep Number bed, please do let us know so that we can neither assist you with the sleep number controls, or move you to a room with a standard mattress.
We were concerned about the coffee pot issue - please be assured that this is not normal and we do request that when an issue such as this arises, you let our team at the front desk or housekeeping know so that we can resolve the issue during your stay. We are currently researching this so that we can replace that coffee maker with a new one that works properly.
Thank you again for your comments and we look forward to your next visit.
