First impression was the 'ritz'. Lobby is huge & beautiful. Staff very friendly & helpful. Rooms very clean & spacious. Restaurant & Lounge were second to none! The 'show' from 'Teppanyaki' chef at your table was excellent.

The quality of the food was also excellent & the service impeccable.

Room Tip: Overlooking pool is very nice.

We stayed here after driving for 13 hours. The staff were quick and polite. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable...nice white bedding as well. The A/C is a little noisy when it comes on (central air), but otherwise, great. Nice flat screen tv as well. The bathroom is also nice and clean - the caulking around the tub looked a little old, but clean.

Room Tip: We asked for a room away from the ice machines as it is noisy there (which is also near the elevator...

We stayed at the Woodlands Hotel in June. The room was comfortable, the restaurant was very good, and the pool was small (much smaller than the picture appears on the hotel website) but nice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the airport, which was very helpful.

Thank you for choosing the Woodalnds Hotel for your recent vacation and for posting your review. So pleased you enjoyed our seasonal outdoor pool. Though we do not receive too many comments about it's size being small - we will be looking for ways of ensuring our photos are accurately representing all of our facilities. We appreicate the feedback!

It was a pleasant surprise when We stepped into the lavish lobby and everything else was just as good, including the rooms, the corridors, facilities, etc. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal for those wanting Togo to Grand Canyon as it is very easy to get on the highway from there.

Stayed one night. Very nice room and great staff. Lounge for Happy Hour was a good deal. Restaurant was so-so, you could do better elsewhere. Good location for getting on the road the next day. Would stay there again.

Nice spacious room w/comfortable beds and upgraded towels in bathroom. Hotel has 2 nice restaurants with good service. We stayed here on a busy holiday weekend and were able to get a good rate. No complimentary breakfast, but I liked the hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. On a busy holiday weekend like 4th of July it can get crazy busy in Flagstaff with little availability and lots of visitors. Thank you for choosing the Woodlands Hotel and for posting your review.

This hotel was well situated and close to attractions such as Sedona. We were very tired when we arrived and were pleasantly surprised at the price of the three course evening meal ($18) as we didn't want to start looking for restaurants. We were asked to book a time for our meal as soon as we arrived which seemed a fair request but when we went down to dinner we were told to wait in line even though there were plenty of empty tables on view. When we finally sat down and placed our order the waiter was pleasant but took an age to bring our drinks and the meal when it arrived was only average. The staff seemed really stressed, one in particular looked as if he was on the edge of a complete melt-down! The room was clean though no fridge and no safe.

Thank you for your feedback as we fine-tune our food and beverage operation. Comments such as yours are truly helpful for our management team to know exactly where to spend our time and energies to increase our services. As an additional note: refrigerators and microwaves are coming in the near future as we convert to DoubleTree by Hilton.
