“Good choice for downtown Flagstaff”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

Last time we went to Flagstaff we stayed in an excellent B&B near downtown but this time we chose the Drury Inn as it was cheaper, we were pleased with out choice, this is an excellent hotel. The guy on the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. Parking wasn't a problem. The free extras such as the early evening hot food/drinks and breakfast were very good. Downtown Flagstaff is a short walk away and is within easy access to the highways. The hotel accommodates the tourist and business person brilliantly.

Only here one night as part of a tour. Nice clean room and free breakfast and free drinks during happy hour so good value. Pet friendly though so one of our tour had a room next to a barking dog

Location is just a few steps, from Northern AZ university. Very convenient. Rooms and bed were nice. It was great to have eggs and not just continental breakfast although just apples for fruit left a little to be desired. Lady at breakfast was very friendly, providing tips to travelers.

The afternoon items, were fried, starchy and fatty, so opted out. Free drinks was a nice touch, although pretty cheap products. Would prefer they reduce price, to not offer these.

Main complaint though, is the pet policy. Heard dogs barking on the floor and allergic to cats. They must have a niche' for the people who travel with pets. If you don't mind that and want "free food", good hotel choice.

I have stayed in other places in the area, that I don't recall allowing pets, so will circle back to them as I continue to visit the area.

We stayed in this hotel last month during a 6 day trip to Flagstaff and the surrounding areas. This was our first time to stay in a Drury Inn. My husband and I had a one-bedroom suite. It was larger than we were expecting and nicely appointed. We enjoyed our tiny balcony, although a chair out there would have been nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Jeff, who seemed to be there 24/7. The breakfast and the evening snack, though certainly not fancy, were very convenient. Adult beverages in the evening were a nice touch.
We were somewhat apprehensive about staying in a dog-friendly hotel. However, while we did see many dogs, we only heard a couple of isolated barks the whole time.

The only negative thing I can think of was some food on the wall by the microwave in our room, which went unnoticed by housekeeping.

I would recommend this hotel. Very nice accommodations in an interesting college town.

Room Tip: Rooms on the campus side are quieter, while still affording a view of the town and mountains.

We stayed here while visiting areas near Flagstaff. The hotel was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. They had a nice variety of food available for breakfast and the evening snack. I felt it was a little on the expensive side and I felt that the room was small. But, after visiting the area, I think we made a good choice. We were so close to the little downtown area that we could walk. The hotel was packed with families while we were there but it was still quiet.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and this was our first time trying Drury Inn. We took a road trip from KS to CA. Our last overnight stop put us in Flagstaff. We are glad Drury Inn was an option. The front desk staff was very pleasant. The suite was a nice size very clean, the furniture appeared to be new. The happy our reception in the lobby was well organized and again, very clean. We highly recommend this hotel whether you are staying in the area or passing through.

Very clean hotel with friendly service and good food, which is included in the price of the hotel. It is located right on the north end of Northern Arizona University. If you go get up early and take a walk through campus, it is beautiful.

Room Tip: I was in room 625, which had a great view of the peaks and a small balcony.
