“Wonderful time.”
Reviewed August 27, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Had a fabulous time during our stay. Beautiful cabin, well maintained. Outside views provided one " National Geographic" moment after another. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

“So Relaxing”

Love this cabin! If you are looking for someplace to relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds and views of nature, this is the place. After busy days of seeing the local sites (grand canyon, wupatki national monument and sunset crater are an easy drive) it was so nice to come back to calm. The national forest is so close you can literally throw a stone to it from the back porch. If we did not live on the opposite coast, I would already be booking a return trip for winter.

“Comfortable stay and great location”
Reviewed September 20, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This cabin was beautifully furnished with all the essentials. It is located in a pine forest and was very peaceful - we hoped to see/hear elk but they stayed away!

“Peaceful”
Reviewed June 19, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Cabin in the Pines is in a great location. The home is in a quiet and peaceful setting, but is a fairly quick drive to Flagstaff and many other local sights. We were a group of four, and it didn't feel too small for us. The decks were perfect for enjoying the breeze, the sound of wind in the trees, and watching the local wildlife.

“Fantastic place to stay !!”
Reviewed April 22, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

My wife and I stayed one week in this cabin. It was fantastic! Everything we needed was available to us. The cabin was very nicely appointed and immaculately clean! The location of the cabin, just about 10 minutes north of Flagstaff, was the perfect location for us to go to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Lowell Observatory, Wupatki and Sunset Crater National Monuments, and Lake Mormon while enjoying the local flavor of the lovely town of Flagstaff. The setting in the tall Ponderosa Pine forest was outstanding. We highly recommend staying in this cabin!

Liked best: The location and the cleanliness.
Liked least: The king bed was a little soft, but I like rock-hard mattresses so I may not be a good judge.

“Dream cabin”

The cabin and area was perfection. There was enough space to feel somewhat secluded, yet we were close enough to get whatever was needed. I traveled with my granddaughter (5), my son (26), daughter and her husband. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen, bathroom and living area was perfect for us. We had plans to go on an adventure the second day however everyone wanted to stay around the cabin and explore. Again, perfection. I cannot thank the owners enough. They answered questions and made us feel at home with all the little extras in the cabin. You can tell it is very well maintained and loved.

“Peaceful cabin in the pines near the Grand Canyon”
Reviewed June 20, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

This was a lovely, well appointed cabin that served as the perfect jumping off point for many adventures in north central Arizona. Much of the northern landscape is barren, dry brush, but this cabin is in the tall Ponderosa pines. It was relaxing to kick back and listen to the wind through the trees. It was 70 minutes to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, 40 minutes to Sunset Crater, and usually an hour from Sedona (road closures due to a wild fire made it longer), and 15 minutes to the Snow Bowl. The cabin itself is tucked in the trees so AC during the day was not necessary and the cool night air made sleeping easy. The large flat screen TVs made family movie night a big hit after long days of hiking. We would stay here again when in the area.
