Disappointing first time visit. Not really greeted as we entered. Ordered prickly pear Margaritas and told they were out of pp syrup & couldn’t make them . Took regular instead and not very good. Ordered the special of lamb chops and they were super thin and my medium rare came out rare. No bread served . Zeppoles for dessert were good and our waiter was efficient and pleasant. Bottom line: not a satisfactory experience for a restaurant that is supposed to be one of best fine dining places in Flagstaff.

Visiting friends and taking a day trip to Flagstaff/Sedona. Great reviews for Josephine’s fro lunch! All was well and our waiter was awesome! The kitchen though was another story! Ordered 2 cheeseburgers medium rare! Both came out well done and much thinner than we expected this establishment to serve! I ate mine and the other was sent back. Another burger replaced the well done one an it was still well done not medium rare at all. The owner/manager came and apologized and the situation was handled very well... but were disappointed since the reviews were so awesome!

We sat on the front patio, warmed by a propane heater, and thoroughly enjoyed our dinners – from the fried green tomatoes appetizer, through the seared salmon special and crab cakes, to the mini-zeppole dessert. Service was attentive but not obtrusive.

A comfortable location, tables well-spaced inside and out; attentive service, best of all, excellent food makes Josephine's well-worth visiting - lunch is particularly nice, relaxed, unhurried in an otherwise busy community (although dinner-time is busy, it's worth visiting for a hearty meal.

On our first day to visit Flagstaff we were driving around trying to find a place to eat lunch. Everywhere was so crowded and it was difficult to park in some places. Finally, I spotted Josephine's. Since it was Sunday (and Father's Day) they were having a brunch. Even though we had arrived late they refilled things they were getting low on. My favorite was the garlic potatoes and roast. My husbands favorite was the smoked salmon. The lunch was a bit pricey, but everything was delicious.
