We had a very large group of 9 people, including 2 children who were first time riders. The folks at Hichin' Post Stables were attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. They picked the perfect horse for each rider in our group! We had a fantastic experience and it was a beautiful trail. Thanks to Jim and all his terrific staff!

I had pre booked a tour with Pot Of Gold Stables and it was suggested We go to Hitchin' Post where the temperatures were cooler. We were met at the stables by a pleasant staff who were ready for us. Our guide, Wrangler Rebecca, was very friendly and patient. We had an excellent time riding through the Ponderosa Pines. My only thought, I didn't book a long enough trip. Thanks. Oh yeah, Baby Girl and Storm were great hosts too!

We took the one hour tour. It was amazing! Our guide Pistol was great, he told great stories and was full of adventure and knowledge. The horses were great for first time riders like us. The staff was very friendly. A great deal! Price was low and service was excellent. Made our first time in Sedona, AZ a memorable experience.

Our family took a 1 Hour Horseback Ride at 5 pm followed by the Cowboy Cookout. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in our saddles before we left the stables. Our guide Julianne was very pleasant and friendly and was very good with the kids making sure they were having fun and enjoying their rides. We wanted to trot our horses and got to do so quite a few times. The ride was very peaceful and went through the Coconino National Forest. The ponderosa pines smelled heavenly. After our ride we got to walk around the grounds and see the other horses and the two baby foals and my daughter got to pet them. We then had our cowboy cookout. Rebecca did an awesome job setting things up and serving us dinner. The food was very good and it was a very nice and relaxing outdoor experience in a peaceful setting. You would never know you were only 10 minutes outside of Flagstaff. I would highly recommend this Stable especially if you have children. Our kids were 12 and 16 and they both thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

My husband & I took 3 young granddaughters 7,7& 8 to the Flagstaff area for 2 weeks. Of all the activities, this was their favorite. The check-in was easy & we were taken to see a month old foal and several other horses while waiting . (We arrived early). Each girl was fitted with a helmet & given good instructions for riding. The trail was through the Coconino Forest & so peaceful. Rebecca and Julianne made it fun getting kids & adults to compete in saying , "Yee Ha"! When we come back to this area again, we would definitely go riding here!
