Salsa Brava's is a great restaurant for families. The staff were prompt and friendly and willing to amend the menu to fit our child's tastes. The portions were large and the guacamole was perhaps the best I have had. Great salsa bar and Key Lime pie. It was also one of the cheapest meals during our trek. Overall a great meal!

I recently reviewed a restaurant called Fat Olives that is just down the street from Salsa Brava. We loved it! Found out that this restaurant was owned by the same gentleman. That sealed the deal for us, so we tried it. The carnitas are not to be believed....great guacamole, margaritas, salsa bar. Had the smoked chicken tacos the second time. Also wonderful. Ryan was our server the last time and his service was top-notch. You must try both of these places!

We were starving but none of us could get close to finishing our meals! To "top it off" the restaurant has an excellent salsa bar! Medium is in the middle, with heat increasing to the right and decreasing to the left. The array of salsas was simply staggering. We were just passing through, but if we lived in the area, we would be "regulars" here!
Even if you are not driving Route 66 - make the effort to swing in for a meal!

On our recent trip across Route 66, we stopped for the night in Flagstaff. Thank goodness we did, because we were able to go to Salsa Brava, a restaurant we saw on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. There was a 15 minute wait on a Sunday night, which truthfuly is a good sign. After we were seated, it took several minutes for our waiter to get to our table. I'll say right here that the service was a little spotty, but not terrible. After finally coming to the table and taking our drink order, we proceded to the salsa bar - seven homemade, fresh salsas with varying degrees of heat. Unfortunately, it took so long for our drinks to come (a house margarita/rock and dos equis) despite our table being adjacent to the bar, and we hadn't received a glass of water, so I couldn't try the chips and salsa until the drinks came (heat kills lol). Although the restaurant was busy, it seemed as if the waiter and the bartender didn't have the ability to pick up the pace.

The food was simply delicious. Ordered the stuffed sopapilla and the baja tacos. Excellent food quality, flavor, presentation. Too much food to eat really.

I'd recommend the place and would eat there again if I'm ever in Flagstaff.

This was a real 'Find' in Flagstaff. We were hungry for Mexican food and drove toward old town on Route 66. We liked the look of the restaurant and the parking lot had several cars in it so we stopped. The Margueritas were great and the food was wonderful, but the best was the salsa bar where you could choose from 10 different kinds of salsas. Very good atmosphere, family friendly, and the staff were very welcoming.
