Description: Beaver Street Brewery was the first brewery to open in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1994. Since then they have cultivated a unique atmosphere for Flagstaff locals and visitors. The open kitchen creates a fun atmosphere where you can watch your food being made and entertain you on the on nights with a wait. The menu is full of classic American cuisine with a unique twist. We have a separate 21 and over bar - Brews & Cues with the same menu but with a more adult atmosphere and Billiards!

Pros:
+ As was mentioned in previous reviews, the firecracker shrimp gorditas are quite delicious and the portion is sizeable. The shrimp is perfectly prepared, not undercooked or chewy. The firecrack sauce is phenomenal as is the chipotle coleslaw.
+ The mixed drink menu is extensive and attractively priced.
+ The ambiance is cozy but can get a little loud.
+ Eclectic and interesting menu (i.e., it's not run-of-the-mill bar food).

Cons:
- The service has been inconsistent. The last two trips were particularly disappointing. On one occasion the server seemed annoyed that he had to tend to our table. On the other occasion, we had to wait 45 minutes to get a table and another hour to get our food. Our only compensation was a complimentary appetizer that wasn't even good (see below).
- The pico de gallo (chips and salsa) appetizer didn't taste fresh on more than one occasion. It tasted as if it had been left out so long that it started to ferment.
- The wait time can be lengthy.
- The dessert menu could have been more imaginative

We had a lunch visit on our recent weekend in Flag. The salads are huge and we wished we would have shared one. We thought the bread ( a beer one and a foccacia) were too salty and still salty when they replaced the basket. Good beers, attentive service, and will be back again. On other visits we have enjoyed pizzas, sandwiches, etc and still like to return.

My family really enjoyed dinner at this comfortable restaurant/microbrewery. The attentive staff serves a wide variety of tasty traditional "American" foods served in hearty portions and a dash of panache. (A peppery bread, cheesy, creamy red potatoes, and a dash of chili powder on a cup of clam chowder.) I'm not a drinker, so I passed on the beer. But I enjoyed a delicious virgin strawberry daquiri. They have good pizza, too. At $10 - $20 per meal, this restaurant is a great value. We highly recommend it!

We came here for an evening meal after reading some reviews and were not disappointed. It was buzzing when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long for a table, we sampled some of the superb beers whilst waiting of course! The food was excellent, the wait staff very pleasant and we had a great evening overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Flagstaff.
