“Accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide to this hidden gem”

Been here before but took a friend and her NAU student who hadn't toured before. So proud to show off this gem of Arts and Crafts architecture in NAU's backyard. It truly is an amazing home full of innovation, green technology and Arizona history. A must-do when you're in Flagstaff - tours start on the hour and last an hour. Buy tickets there.

“Incredible home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014

Very interesting bit of history on the First Family of Flagstaff. the house was built in 1907. The artifacts in the home are amazing. Lovely one hour tour, shouldn't be missed if you are visiting Flagstaff. The home is beautiful.

“Didn't have time for a tour but interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014

This place is only open on certain days and tours happen on the hour. The fee for a tour is $10. You can walk around the grounds with a guide map for fifty cents. Its an unusual building built by the same architect who designed the El Tovar Lodge at the Grand Canyon. The buildings are sadly is a state of disrepair and the place is in need of funds to restore the buildings. The money would be well spent as its a very unique place. Not what I'd consider arts and crafts architecture exactly but interesting just the same, and they do have some very nice pieces of furniture in the style. Very friendly tour guides!

“Couldn't Get Enough!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2014

I will ALWAYS go back to this place whenever I visit Flagstaff!!! It is hard to find, but when you do find it, you will not be disappointed! The family that used to live there were so far ahead of their times. It was so fascinating!! The tour can last up to an hour, but it doesn't feel like it. Small kiddos will not enjoy it, but everyone else will! PLEASE visit!

Tour guide Mary took us through this very impressive historic house. Her knowledge and sense of humor was great. Sorry for stepping off the red carpet! Highly recommended.
