Not sure if I would go out of my way to visit, but the expereince was OK. Lots of older exhibits in need of tending to. Kids had fun, but the kids have fun almost anywhere.

I've driven by this place so many times and had yet to go in during my many visits to Flagstaff. It's not a wham bam museum, just simple and interesting. And the price is right at a few dollars. Good for an hour or two with the kids.

I thought this museum presented a great, balanced history of Flagstaff. Compared to the Riordan Mansion (which is interesting but focuses mostly on the wealthy citizens of Flagstaff), this is a modest museum with honest exhibits. Not flashy but is informative and the staff was very knowledgeable. I've been back several times and always find something new.

This museum had a bit of a lot of things in it, and no cohesive theme. Each room is set up differently, so you have a kids room, a display on polio with an iron lung machine, a bit of history on Flagstaff, a few out buildings, farm equipment and train cars which are interesting to wander through. Well worth the time, especially when you have kids in tow.

This had eveything old cars, old machinery, old buildings, intriguing artefacts from an age that is not too byegone. I sat in a school desk like the ones exhibited, and I'm sure I'm not the only visitor to recognise her granny' front room. What made it even better was that exhibits were being created as we visited.
