It's apparent when you pull into this Choice Hotel property that it really is just barely hanging on to a franchise name, or at least that's how it should be. Looks run down and neglected. Poor WiFi . Pool was nice. Breakfast was fair. They need more security. Was accosted on the premises early in the morning by a street person for a handout. Needed a pet friendly place, but next time will keep looking.

Right now, this is an overnight-type hotel while travelling...not an extended stay place. While still clean with great service (and a quality free breakfast), the hotel is showing its age (especially in the bathroom areas). An upgrade likely be possible in the near future...

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel. I located the hotel online and booked 3 nights. As we were pulling into the parking lot that was the first indicator of lack of pride of ownership! The asphalt was in terrible shape, very broken up. Our room had 2 queen beds. They do offer alot of extras in the room, such as refrig./mircrowave/ironing board and iron. The frig. was sitting on a platform that was not anchored to the floor. So if you were not careful and didn't know which side the door opened on the frig. it would fall off the platform along with the mircrowave which was sitting on top of the frig! A very big hazard. The room was very tight. The carpet had alot of stains and needed cleaning or even replacement. I would not walk on it without shoes or slippers!
The bathroom door needed painting and patching along with the tub. Very difficult to get the right temp. for the shower as the know was loose. You either got cold water or very hot!
They do offer a breakfast bar that offers hot items but poor quality. We only stayed 2 nights and was not charged for the third night! The online photos do make the place look nicer than it was!
Flagstaff has alot of hotels to pick from. We won't be returning here!

Room Tip: The front of the hotel faces the interstate. The back of the hotel faces a busy street.

We got a great deal using the hotelcoupons.com but we had to lug our luggage upstairs as there was no elevator. The place was didn't smell real fresh and the carpet needed to be cleaned in the checkin area and stairs.

The room appeared to be clean but didn't smell fresh. It was just old. They served breakfast in the morning, eggs, cereal, juice, yogurt.

If we had to pay full price we would have walked out and not stayed there.

Room Tip: Don't pay full price use hotelcoupons.com because the triple aaa discount isn't enough to bother to stay.

We usually stay in Quality Inns, and yes, there is variation from one to another. But you do expect to find some things consistent - a mid-range place with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, clean grounds and so on. This one had the feel of a cheap motel that had been branded as a Quality Inn - tiny rooms, the bare minimum of amenities (one tiny pouch for a cup of coffee, 2 cups, 2 glasses, nothing at all extra), a trashed-out parking lot and a filthy breakfast room. Although they claim they have queen-size beds, ours was clearly the size of a full, no larger. The room itself was clean, but after having breakfast, I felt as if I needed to take a shower to wash off the filth.

The staff was nice and the wifi was strong (you have to ask for the password) and they did end up reducing the price of the room after we complained about the bed, but even so, I thought that we would get better value staying just about anywhere else. Overall, very substandard and a poor value. We would not stay here again!
