Description: Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries. As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.

“Coppa Extraordinaire”

The food is as wonderful as any in Europe. We haven't ordered anything that wasn't perfectly prepared. The owner couple are accomplished and innovative chefs. The decor doesn't quite match the fine dining but has a certain charm and intimacy.

“Coppa Cafe, a real find in Flagstaff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

The Coppa Café is a small restaurant in a strip mall in Flagstaff, but it's surrounding belie its excellence. The food is among the best I've ever had and the service caring, quick and expert. This is a must stop for me whenever passing through Flagstaff and I highly recommend it to you.

“One of my favorite places in Flagstaff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

I love the food at Coppa Café. I have never had anything but absolutely wonderful food experiences and great service here! My only comment is that it is very expensive. If the prices were more reasonable, I would go here a lot more often.

If you want authentic and carefully prepared food this is the place. Stay away from the chains when you dine in Flagstaff and put the Coppa Cafe on your must try list!

“Consistently Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

Paola and Brian achieve first class food and service every time we visit. The atmosphere is always cozy, unique, and relaxing, even on their busiest days. We love their salads, their exquisite blends of flavorful soups, and their lunchtime plates of carefully crafted quiches and ramekin delights. Dinners are truly special, making us feel as if we've visited a gourmet hideaway down a cobbled street in Europe. Paola and Brian never fail to make us feel that we are special guests, with food prepared to perfection and service that always includes a gracious welcome. Don't ever skip the desserts, they are heavenly! Thank you Paola and Brian for bringing classically fine food and service to Flagstaff!
