“Great place to grab a bite”
Reviewed October 6, 2011

Informal dining with an open view kitchen and a great and varied menu with lots more than just the pitas. Any of the fish dishes are very good and great Ahi & yellowfin tuna. Try to go between 3-7 any day of the week during their happy hour. Besides the typical drink specials (lots of microbrews) the Tapas menu during happy hour is all great $1, $2, and $3 small plates. Usually a great college and 20 something crowd but everybody from young people to retirees stop by for the great food and laid back atmosphere. Located pretty much in the center of town at the Lumberyard; a renovated sawmill site from the logging days. If you are still hungry it is right next door to what is probably the best natural foods store in Flagstaff.

“Awesome Food, Inexpensive, Nice Place”
Reviewed September 24, 2011

I tried Pita Jungle in Phoenix a few years ago and remembered how tasty and inexpensive the food was. So we decided to check out the Pita Jungle in Flagstaff the night before our treck to Grand Canyon. We got there late, a half hour or so before they closed. The place had a few customers so we were seated right away. There were so many good things on the menu it was hard to decide what to get. Both of our plates were awesome! I can't remember the name of what we ordered, but I do have a pictures. Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly and I wish we'd had more time to try more things on the menu. We will definately go back. The only bad is that when our food came, our waiter forgot utensils and even though it was empty, we had a little trouble getting his attention. But all in all, great place, beautiful decor. I wish they were in California.

“Great food, just a little too pricey for a lunch.”
Reviewed July 29, 2011

3 of us had Pitas & they were amazing! The lemon dressing on the 4th persons salad, not so great. the just regular rice, not worth the extra. The lentils & rice... Very good. Maybe would have felt better with the cost if it had been a dinner.

“Happy hour to get happy about!”
Reviewed May 2, 2011

Now this is a happy hour you can get happy about. We like to take the Salt River Rafting crew (http://www.-----------.com) here for appetizers and drinks. Amazing $1 menu of humus, baba ganoush and more. Catch the poetry slam here and get the full dinner and show treatment. We'll be back every rafting season 'fo sure!
