The menue was interesting and the food was good. We would all go looking for Charly's if we were back in Flagstaff. Its located in an attractive old hotel. In the bar there was an impromptu gathering of local musicians.

It's in a cool old building in the center of Flagstaff and they seated our party of 8 with no problem. The tuna was overcooked, someone in our party ordered a chicken Caesar but got got grilled chicken on a garden salad and we had to wait a long time for it to come. The enchilada was also overcooked and tasted dry. The service was a little slow. The bar looked like a lot of fun but we didn't go in. Good selection of beer. Prices were reasonable.

Had the chicken enchiladas which were quite tasty. Had an very nice IPA which tasted beyond good after a 12 hour motorcycling day. But best of all was my waitress who's name I unfortunately do not remember but if the owner is reading this, she's in her 20s and has dark hair and was working on the night of Monday July 8th. A very nice young lady and an excellent waitress!!
Enjoyed the outdoor/sidewalk seating as well.

I don't mean this in a bad way. Some nacho side dish could feed about 8 people easy. Its served on a platter the size of a ex-large pizza. I had french onion soup that was delicious with a ceasar salad. Sat on the balcony outside. Service was a little slow, didn't matter anyways.

I have been living in Flagstaff for about four years now and Charly's Pub and Grill is still one of my favorite breakfast places in town. During the summer time, the patio area is a nice, relaxing place to enjoy some food and a mimosa (or an Irish coffee). I recommend the french toast, it is amazing! The staff there are genuinely friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Also Charly's is my favorite bar to go to at night. During the summer time the Zane Grey bar has the perfect atmosphere for an evening drink with beautiful views of downtown Flagstaff, plus they have popcorn! Anyone visiting Flagstaff needs to come here especially if you are only in town for one night. You get everything that represents Flagstaff in one place, a historic building, cool people, awesome food, delicious drinks, and local live music! And the best part, you can actually hear the conversations that are happening in your group.
