“BIG rooms, warm, & friendly.”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

Of our 5 hotels in 6 days & 6 states... this one was by far, the best. Incredibly friendly staff! Spacious room was clean& modern. Pool was tiny but warm. SOoo many restaurants within a mile. And when my phone/kindle charger broke at 11pm.. 24 hr walmart across the street! We will be back!!

Asked the front desk staff for a nice restaurant, I kept getting referred to college bars, none of which were nice. The nice restaurant I was looking for I had to find on my own. They also were no help in finding a local park.

We visit the Courtyard on a regular basis to visit our family in Flagstaff. Each and every time we visit we encounter nothing but exceptional service from everyone. From the initial check in, to the clean and comfortable rooms, to the delicious breakfasts that we look forward to every trip, we were totally satisfied. Jacob H. the guest service supervisor checked us in and was amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. We are grateful to everyone who took such great care of us and our family. It truly is our home away from home and we will definitely return to the Courtyard on our next trip to Flagstaff. Again many thanks. See you soon!!

We stayed at the time of the Shutdown so our planned visit to the Grand Canyon didn't happen.

Didn't matter as there was so much else to see in and around Flagstaff. We spent most of our time touring the trails in Sedona, what a lovely place. Devil's Bridge is a must!!

Meteor Crater is easily accessible and definitely worth a visit.

Arizona Snowbowl is close and the scenery is lovely.

We were on the 3rd floor and while we didn't manage to get a mountain view room we were happy with the view we had.

Be wary of false fire alarms :-) unfortunately there were a couple of occasions when someone had burnt the toast. Luckily we did not have to evacuate the building!

The room was a little small but had a sofa for relaxation. The bed was so comfortable.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and the government shut down did not hamper your trip! We have addressed the fire alarms and this should not be an issue for future guests.

This corporate feeling hotel is on a tiny island of land surrounded by a sea of highways, so you'll want to keep the windows closed and not try to walk anywhere. New, well appointed rooms. No free breakfast. My check in experience was as follows:

Receptionist: "Would you like a king sized bed or two queens?"
Dude 2 feet in front of me and my companion in line: "Uh, I don't care."
R: "Well, are you alone or travelling with someone?"
Dude: "Alone."
R: "I could still give you two queens so you'd have more room. Wait - I have a room here with two queens and a balcony."
D: "Uh, ok whatever"

(Dude leaves, I'm next)

R: (Seeing me any my companion) "Ok, a room with one king bed for you. Next!"

(We'd never specified the type of room we wanted)

Clean---good beds, appearance of a relatively new property. Found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. We had planned the night here as a stopover to the Grand Canyon, but the government shutdown had us looking for more options. A couple of the hotel clerks supplied information on options that worked very well. Would definitely stay here again unless I wanted a more historic setting in downtown Flagstaff.

Quite basic but very practical hotel and ideal for visit to Grand Canyon. Room was quite spacious and clean. Very helpful staff, asked us which room we would like to have. We were on level 1 which had a view. No breakfast included but they do provide unlimited free coffee in the lobby area. Would stay again.
