This National Monument had a wonderful trail down into the canyon. There were 240 steps down and then a loop trail that passed the cliff dwellers homes, that were in pretty good shape, and very interesting. Coming back up the 240 steps was made easy, as there were benches to rest along the way. The views from the top of the canyon were amazing.

No complete dwellings in accessible areas. Not sufficient info on path about dwellings. Many other inaccessible dwellings within view across canyon from trail was best part. Great views. If you have been to Mesa Verde, this will pale in comparison. We were in and out in a little over an hour. Overall, disappointing experience.

This is a great place to visit, history right under your nose, and well preserved. Walking down into the canyon you can see where people lived almost 1000 years ago

Part of the loop was in repair but it did not hinder our enjoyment of the canyon. Great place to visit from Flagstaff. We went to the Meteor Crater on the same day, and end our day at Lowell Observatory,...all made for a fantastic day, for us!

We took our two girls here, and it was such a great time! A bit of a hike, but the view is worth it.
