This museum explains a lot about the American Indians that lived in this area, and still live in Arizona. The displays are very well done. They include pottery, jewelry, baskets, rugs, and weavings. There is also one room that has a kiva. This is the only museum that I have seen a Kiva on display inside.
The museum is a beautiful stone structure nestled among many pine trees. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
At the time we visited they were working on a renovation, so it will be even a better museum.
There are also two good gift shops.
