We stay at Fairfield quite often. This is the lowest end one we have seen. The desk clerk was on the phone often, with friends it seemed. She was pleasant but interactions made us few like we were interrupting something.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. I couldn’t cut the sausage logs. I’m 43 and reasonably strong and partially educated, but struggled to make the food taste ok or even cut it. At all the Fairfield’s we’ve been to, it’s pretty much the same food. We don’t expect a ton but it should be edible.

The room was pretty clean, except the walls and shower. The mattress was medium firmness and slept well. The fold out sofa bed must have been sponsored by a chiropractor. Our daughter probably needs a back adjustment now.

Overall the place seems really dated and service was 3/4 stars. We certainly don’t feel we got value for the money.

I would say with the number of hotels in this area, this place is average. i am sure you can find a similar priced room at a nicer place. Our room was not bad. The room could have used a little more in depth cleaning. We found a couple small dead bugs and hairs in our room. Nothing that was a show stopper, but just small details that can be improved upon.

The Fairfield Inn is one of many properties on this “hotel row” in Murfreesboro but is worth your consideration. The hallways and rooms are clean and cared for, the staff friendly and accommodating and the easy on and off the highway make it convenient.
There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant in easy walking distance or many other eating choices a short drive away.
We arrived earlier than the staff expected this our room was not ready but the staff did their best to get it cleaned and ready for occupancy. These are not necessarily large rooms but for a one night stop it certainly fit our needs.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing wrong was we were quoted one price and our credit card was charged $21 more. When we received our bill under door was the quoted price. Call front desk and the difference is if we take something or ruin something they have the money to care if this. We would be credited in 4 days . Was not told up front about this. So in future ask to see your credit card receipt because we did not know so they take upon themselves to do this. Other than that surprise everything was fine.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed 4 days, 3 nights. We received room service only 1 of the 4 days we were there. Had to go ask for towels. Older, dated hotel that is not well kept. Not your typical Marriot experience for sure.
