“Our Favorite in Murfreesboro”
Reviewed May 27, 2012

We like to stop at Murfreesboro, Tennessee on I-24 and in particular we like to stay at the Ramada Murfreesboro. Last week we called ahead to book a room and were greeted with the friendly voice of Bob the owner who was more than pleased to hold a twin queen room for us. Each time we’ve stayed at this Inn Bob and staff have always made us feel like special guests. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable and well lit and parking is plentiful and brightly lighted.
We were traveling with a large vehicle loaded with almost a million dollars worth of electronic equipment. We explained our concerns about parking the vehicle. Bob immediately offered to move his car, parked under the portico, so we could park there. That is typical of this service oriented inn and is just one of the reasons it is a favorite stop for us.

Room Tip: Rear rooms are a bit quieter.

The rooms are good and clean. No elevator to floor 2. Breakfast was very good and well stocked. Easy to get too from highway. The pool is a good size but was not as clean as should be.

Room Tip: 2nd floor quiet but no elevator

This is a very old hotel. The people were nice, but the facilities did not match up. The breakfast was mediocre at best; the odors in the lobby and breezeways were unpleasant, the bathrooms were tiny. I will not stay here again. For the price, there are much nicer places to stay in Murfreesboro.

^62 total senior rate was attractive for the area, and TA rated it one of top 4 in Murfreesboro. But the upgraded 2 Q room we got was ordinary. The bathroom was small, stained with dark mildew, and looked badly in need of renovation. The free continental breakfast was ordinary. Even at 7 a.m. the hot biscuits and gravy were gone, the wafflemaker was a mess, and there was no fruit or yogurt. Only cold cereals or instant oatmeal. This was more like a Motel 6 or lower experience. I advise travelers to exit at #81 where there are more hotels and more restaurants, even if the price is higher.

My sister and mother visited Murfreesboro recently and stayed at this Ramada Inn. The hotel is VERY clean. The rooms are very well-maintained. They provide a wonderful breakfast buffet with a wide selection of items to choose from. The manager and the staff were both polite and very helpful. My relatives truly enjoyed their stay and plan to continue to choose this hotel on future visits. I, and they, HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!!! :-)

Recently spent 4 nights at the ramada and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, extremely comfortable, and very accomodating. When I asked for no maid service but I would like coffee for the in rood coffee maker, they gave me 8 packs and left me alone. I also appreciated the free, breakfast buffet. It was well stocked and the ketchen area was spacious and clean. I couldnt ask for a friendlier staff for the price we paiond for our rooms. Two thunbs up!
