“The Office is their claim to fame.”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

Naive university kids and celebrity status on The Office are the only reasons this place is still open. The food is average at best. One time I ate there (a chicken entree) and I got sick. I wouldn't go there to eat.

“Do Not Eat Here!”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

Very poor service, poorly prepared and over-cooked food, served in a dismal atmosphere. This place will take your money, but not offer much in return. Too many other good places to eat in Scranton.

“Restaurant Impossible - please help them”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

Wow - were do you start. Friday night. Not one person at a table and 4 people at the bar at 730 pm? Terrible food, undercooked, lousy appetizers. Service was slow and we were the only one's at the restaurant. I almost felt bad for the bartenders who seemed nice. To the management, dont let the staff smoke outside the main entrance. The place looks and smells old.

“Overpriced, there are better places downtown”
Reviewed March 17, 2012

I went to Farley's once with my husband. We had been meaning to try it, since we knew it was on the Office and we moved to Scranton about 6 months ago. Honestly though, it is overpriced and the food wasn't that amazing. We were also literally the only people eating dinner there on a Friday night. There are lots of better places in downtown Scranton.

“Overpriced small portions, slow service”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

We were surprised that for a pub, all of the entrees were about $20 or more. My husband ordered a burger, which only came with lettuce & tomato. You had to pay extra for cheese, onions, bacon, etc, and you also had to pay $2 extra to substitute fries for the kettle chips the sandwiches come with. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad, and it came to the table with no dressing on it, just the cheese. We waited at least 1/2 an hour for our food. The menu said that drinks were $2 but we were charged $2.25. Wouldn't return. Could go almost anywhere else in town to get a burger & fries for less than $10. Also, the ceiling is spray foam, looked like the type used for insulation- it was very yellowed, and black around all the vents. Don't know how places like this stay open...
